A Google review QR code for your restaurant

A diner who leaves happy almost never thinks to write a review. They think of it three days later, on the bus, and never do it. The disappointed one writes that same evening. That imbalance is how a room that is full every night ends up with a mediocre rating.

The moment: the bill

Between the moment the bill lands on the table and the moment your customers stand up, there is a dead minute or two. The meal is over, the opinion is still fresh, the phone is already on the table. It is the only window of the evening where scanning a code costs nobody anything — and that is exactly where a tent card sitting on the table does its work, without your floor staff having to ask for anything.

The piece that earns its place: the tent card

On a restaurant table the tent card is read without effort: it sits at eye level, it stands up on its own, and it survives being wiped down. The window sticker catches the passers-by reading the menu outside, and the flyer slips into the bill folder or a takeaway bag. Most owners print the tent card several times over: one per table, and one at the counter.

What you get

Vector PDFs, bleed and crop marks included. The tent card prints on a plain A4 sheet.

Frequently asked questions

Is asking customers for reviews allowed?
Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask for reviews, provided you ask every customer alike and offer nothing in return. A card standing on the table, visible to everyone, is exactly the form Google recommends. What is prohibited is screening customers by how happy they seem, or giving something away in exchange for a review.
Do I need one on every table?
That is what works best. The PDFs are vector files and they are yours: print as many as you like, at home or at a printer, without paying again.
I run several premises — do I need several kits?
Yes. Each premises has its own Google listing, so its own QR code. One kit covers one location.
Does the code still work if I change my menu or my name?
It points at your Google listing, not at fixed content. As long as the listing exists the code works — including after you change your menu, your opening hours or your trading name.
